PEACE

I NEVER like talking about things that I cannot do anything about
I prefer talking about things I can act upon ....

While we can't do anything about peace in Palestine / in Sudan /in Congo
& everywhere else in this world,
there are some things we CAN act on like sign the petition, or the letter calling for
peace or for leaders to take action like the ones AVAAZ & Amnesty International
had been doing.
If you have more, you can even chip in on a much needed donation.

While I can't do anything about corruption, I CAN do my part
by making the official calls /complaints, rather than complain behind people's back.
Of course while they ( the person I call / complain to) promise to take action, I
really can't do anything much about the delays.
I mean like for example, someone's sijil pengesahan taraf took a round trip around Malaysia
before it reached the final destination.
How else do you explain the one month delay after being told that it's ready.
Hemm .... I MUST do more here.

While I can't do anything about weird practises by so called ulamaks, I CAN
educate my children, my family & myself to be aware of such wrong doings & NOT make
the mistake of believing / trusting/ having faith in such ulamaks.
Most importantly my children who are going to make the next generation must be able to
recognise such wrongdoers who claim themselves to be ulamaks & must be able to
either stop such wrongful practises by hand or simply stop them from spreading by word of mouth; amar maaruf nahi mungkar.

How we project ourselves is the BEST method of spreading the true Islam so I would start by ME ... I am a muslim trying my best to be a mukmin :-
i) The best among mukmins are the ones who are well behaved
ii) who maintains the ties of kith and kinship
iii) who remains istiqamah in any religious duty even if it's the simplest.

I have faith in Allah swt. & only HE can guide me, insyaALLAH.
