These days people (Malaysian Malays) are so proud when they can speak English
especially when it's like .. berabuk punya English
It's ironic that it didn't matter to them that they don't speak berabuk punya malay
Little do these people know that within the older generations, even illiterates can speak English.
"Mak Long beli sarung ketupat kat mana?"
"Chow Kit Road"
Ha ... kan English tu ... Chow Kit Road .... instead of Jalan Chow Kit
Kira speaking la tu ....
Of course her slang made it sound more like "Cekik Road"
Tapi betullah ... for low income citizens of KL, kat situ lah selalu kena "cekik"
"Cekik darah betul ..... ada ke patut ... kat tempat lain org jual singgit, dia jual dua inggit"
Hehehe .... I was going to ask "why didn't u buy kat tempat lain tu?" but thinking twice, better not la ... kang aku lak yang kena sembur.
For the average income group ... Sg Wang is the place where the "wangs" will flow like air sungai... laju je dia mengalir keluar.
Anyway .. back to the issue.
Language is a means of communication so no matter what language u speak as long as it
allows u to communicate .. it's good.
If u can't speak english, speak malay, if u can't speak malay, speak english ...
if u can't speak english or malay speak manglish
if u can't speak manglish use the sign language .... hehehe
or u can follow Aisyah's footstep ... dia pakai lantak je ... kdg-kdg bunyi alien pun ada
asalkan org faham.
Kalau tak faham ... ha nasib le
