When someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them ... because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when you open your heart !!! ... or when you open your mouth, for that matter !!!
I just saw the UPM video clip. The parents of these boys ought to be ashamed for bringing up such ill-mannered children.
Maybe now I can understand why the two authors from UPM who came up with the race relations textbook could write such a "masterpiece" of facts. Indeed they are facts - along UPM style. I wonder what moral would the vice chancellor of the university have to be still in that position.
Utter hooliganism - what more a student union leader posturing in such an unbelievable manner.
Didn't I say that this country has gone to the dogs! We live in peace and harmony, so we say to the whole world, a "model Muslim" country. What a bullshit.
When a former prime minister can say that if you don't vote for us, there will chaos and bloodshed like May 13, what hope do we have for sane and moderate minds to prevail. Shame, real shame.
The university normal trend and tendency would be to "climb the ladder" in the rankings, that is, in quality. How much we have regressed and how much more we would regress or go down the drains is very obvious.
As I have said a number of times before, hope is the last word (if at all I can count on it) I would ever think of.
Well, they may fervently want to maintain the status quo, with their own set of reasons and arguments it is fine with me to go along with it, albeit cynically. After all, why should I worry or care? Let us see who is smarter in this game.
If you read our Malaysia school history textbook - you will realised there are a few changes in the history. Did the malays change the history again?
How can you change the history to make our country and malays sound like so marvelous and smart but the fact is not, and insert the wrong information to our next generation? If there was a mistake made by your ancestor, admit it!
Going back to the history of Thailand and Malaysia, prior to the western colonialism era, the entire Malaysia was part of Thailand; the same way Laos was part of Thailand. Back then, the fittest survived and ruled. There were no such things as international laws.
During the western colonialism period, the British and the French came along. In order to maintain its independence, the Kingdom of Thailand was compelled to give up the currently called Malaysia part of Thailand to the British, and the currently called Laos to the French.
After that, the official boundaries that separated Thailand from Malaysia and Laos were drawn and recognized today by the United Nations.
So, the history textbook in school never really started from the root but started from whoever he is, the Parameswara who seems no one never sure how he looks like, or whatsoever migrant from Indonesia, and after that, all the malays thought this land called Malaysia and call them bumis and need the special rights for everything, and claim from everything.
Arrogant, bully, chauvinist, ego, empty brained Umno - who barely bloody hypocrite.
The land is simply not belongs to you naive malay, even we not to force, already a lot of Malaysians gone to other countries to find better living, especially the talented ones, our country not appreciate smart talented Chinese and Indians, other countries like America, Australia and England they do, that is why their country is so multi-cultured yet advanced, who is the lose one?
We are Malaysians, but then all these years are we really treated equally? We all know about that issues, just that you guys don't want to face it, try to hide it or push people out of the country, well……….no need to force all those talented people are already outside the country, let us see all those well-known Malaysians who work overseas:
The very Hollywood star, Michelle Yeoh in US. The very popular violinist, Andrew Au Yong in German. The very smart author, Sandra Chen in Australia. The very talented Indian chef, Sangkar in Paris.
Where are they from? Malaysia. Where are they now? Other people's countries - and many many more medical practitioners are overseas as well. Who is left over in Malaysia? Those lose one. We no need to force, we choose to leave.
Very funny indeed. The only reliable section worth reading in Malaysia newspapers are the comic sections. Period.
Get real.
Alternative news and blogs are not accurate because they don't carry all the stories of rape and incest that the mainstream media carry. That surely puts the country in bad light because readers will think that these things don't happen in Malaysia and it could be misleading.
Yes, along the way, let us dump the Federal Constitution and replace it with the Umno Constitution, that ought to do the trick!
Bodowi, Badawi, Baboowi, where were you born? When were you born? You try so hard to be more stupid than yesterday and only yesterday we thought you cannot be any more stupid than the day before!
You came back from your holidays rehearsing all your answers and you were talking like a canary……….suddenly, you revert to your old incredibly stupid self. Bodowi, Badawi, Baboowi, sigh.
We all know that the mainstream medias are direct or indirect controlled by the government. Therefore the truth will never be known by people on the streets, only what they read from the newspapers.
Websites are the truth uncensored news, may it be the truth or the lies, let the people be the judge of it, instead feeding only lies.
The Look East Policy has taught the Malaysia government the wrong lessons. Instead of copying the work ethics of Japanese workforce, the government has copied the way Japanese changed the history of its aggressions. This is applied on this textbook case.
The new-Umno formed under Dr Mahathir in 1989 can only survives via the NEP policy. The May 13 incident is just an excuse to implement NEP. That is the only thing they cared for.
It is not racist to call the Chinese go out of Malaysia, not extremist when they want to burn down the Chinese Assembly Hall, but when we talked about the special treatment of NEP, we are racist.
Last time they said 20 years, then 30 years, now 50 years and it is becoming their birthright. From a 20 years social contract becomes their birthright. To actually prolong the NEP indefinitely, the textbook is required.
One other thing which came to mind………."Education when made to serve the political purposes ended up serving no purpose."
No wonder our education system can only compete with the likes of Chad and Angola, and probably pale in comparison with that in Antigua (many Malaysians would struggle to locate it on the map).
Compare to Nigeria or Bangladesh which have and can continue export their excellent academicians to USA or Australia, but I have yet to hear of any Malaysians (other than those rejected by the Malaysia universities and subsequently emigrated overseas) or ex-lecturers from any Malaysia government run universities recruited even in the most dubious of universities outside of Malaysia.
We are all Malaysians with a role and part to play. Is it too much to ask for truth, freedom of religion and equal treatment? Why should Umno continue to practise apartheid?
Even South Africa is more progressive and have moved away whilst Malaysia is regressing and going deeper into apartheid and everything else such as religion, employment, education, civil law, etc etc etc.
Is there any light and hope left for Malaysia going down the slippery slope into an oblivion and abyss?
BN leadership of a united, progressive, modern and harmony Malaysia is a total disgrace. We have lost 50 years of nation building!
Man, you might not have the resources and mainstream media to present the absolute truth to the ordinary people. But truth is the only way to fight BN's lies, half truths, denials and cover ups, to protect Malaysia and its ordinary people.
This textbook is a big damn lie. Sorry for swearing but that is the way people in the propaganda business try to convince the readers.
What happened after May 13 was that most citizens became traumatised and decided to leave politics to the politicians. That was our biggest mistake.
The politicians became too powerful and we all just watched and waited while all our freedoms became more restricted like the "frogs in the slow fire cooking".
So the only way to save Malaysia from another May 13 tragedy is to engage the politicians like what many are starting to do now.
Some say just talking is not good enough but talking is part of the process. Enough people must talk before actions can be taken.
I have enough of all these nonsense and distorted fact. All these Jaguh Kampung thinking that the sky is as big as the tempurung. For the time being, I will let them the freedom to masturbate and fantasize under their rotten tempurung.
General election is 2 years down the road. I have made up my mind. I will vote for PAS or KEADILAN or DAP. From now on, whatever they said or going to say, I will treat it as farting in the wind - smelly and noisy.
Umno has a strong culture of intimidation and fear.
For all these nonsense to happen to Malaysia, e.g. inefficiency of government departments, financial incompetent, gross excesses and abuses, corruption and etc, one could only conclude that the government administration is weak and it is being grossly exploited at the great expense of Malaysia and its ordinary people with permanent and long term consequences.
Too many Malaysians have been living like "katak bawah tempurung" - they can see pass the shroud of deceit cast over their eyes. I used to be like tat too but reading especially open and mature materials opened my eyes. Working and living overseas for years also help a lot in helping me mature and hop out of the "tempurung".
Unfortunately, a lot more people are still ignorant - years after years of propaganda and manipulation of the media affected generations after generations - racial relationship and racial harmony are worsening day by day.
In secondary school days we still have several good buddies from other races. Ask any young boys now, how many friends from different races do they have? They would have a hard time answering you. Come on even in my alma mater primary school, for each primary class there is less than 5 Chinese students - how to have good racial relations like this?
Malaysians have been living in a comfort zone for too long - sooner or later this "bubble" will burst……….shake head.
Race is not an issue in Islam. Between Umno and PAS brand of Islam in relation to race, Malaysia is better with PAS.
Islam is the most misunderstood religion in the world because of the failure of their leaders to engage their followers in the progressive and modern world. Islam is tarnished and corrupted by militants and extremists Muslims for their selfish, personal and narrow political purposes.
British, Australian, American diplomats believed that the riots had a political rather than a religious origin. They generally agreed that the riots were the result of several months of criticisms by Umno on the government.
Providing distorting facts, a biased picture of the situations, and whitewashing Umno and blaming opposition party, for the incident and hope that students would accept them without question is self defeating.
If that was possible, then the universities have succeeded in producing non-thinking robots; an outcome that should not have been the aim of the government.
But of course people cannot be fooled all the time. Students from the favoured group might be ashamed of what their leaders had done, and would not reach out to their fellow students of the different races.
History shows, as pointed out elsewhere, that whenever Umno is in trouble, incidents will be created to divert attention. Political power meant more to those in positions than the well beings of the people.
Only people with great strength, great mind and great confidence dare come to face with reality. But unfortunately, Umno does not have these great qualities! Learn it from the Germans.
This textbook only reconfirms Umno's weakness. However, it has rekindled interests in the minds of the young who do not know the "real" truth about May 13.
Now I tell my children, "Yes, the May 13 was started by Umno and now they are trying to whitewash their sins." And I have - looking back with other books written by the other writers to back up my claims.
Let us not be cowed by Umno tactic to frighten Chinese into voting for BN by playing the May 13 bogey. In other words Umno is saying, "If we lose, there will be another May 13."
The idea of admitting the truth of May 13, will never be done because it was then that the "three rails of Malaysia politics" - Special rights, NEP and Islamization, began.
Shakespeare says, "Oh, what a web we weave, when we first practise to deceive." Umno rule is not based on a set of view or principle, it is based on lies and if it cannot admit those lies sooner or later, its rule will end.
Most malays are intensely into politics from very young age from the environment they were brought up.
With the politics of religion and race to grossly inflate insecurity and fear, and the calls to battles at every meeting to fight the illusionary enemies for their survival, this has unnecessarily and irresponsibly increase their insecurity, fear and anxieties.
This has created unstable and insecure state of mind and emotion and very unhealthy environment for them to grow up - psychologically, mentally and emotionally.
It seems fighting is the only way of life and a reason to live a meaningful life. This is very sad because there is lack of faith in one's capability and hard work to achieve one's objectives and goals in life.
In murder cases, one looks for motives; the prospective beneficiary.
Our Malaysia country leadership has lost its direction. They are bulldozing everything for their own survival by looking at the current situation as well as the clash between the current PM and former PM. If by curbing freedom of Internet for their own advantage, they will surely do it.
I wonder what type of leadership are we having here in Malaysia. People or voters must have been blind previously and maybe even more blind now if praises are still given to this administration of such.
Pak Lah is trying to curb Internet media because there is fear in him that our election will see BN incurring heavy losses which in turn, lead into him creating history as the shortest serving prime minister not due health reasons.
I believe that the "net" through the various blogs and news websites have "opened" the eyes of lot of voters in Sarawak and is major contributory factor in BN getting "thrashed".
The history books are full of lies. Not only on the contributions of other races but their content on other religions also has to be thoroughly examined.
Many a time my relatives have to de-learn their kids on the rubbish they are taught in schools. This same rubbish is then used at government seminars to belittle other religions. That is a fact. Under Pak Lah (who supports death for apostasy) - it has increased.
Anyway, Malaysia history books have always been like that - a damn joke. Academicians are too comfy in their ivory towers to butt with the racist politicians who lobbied for such appalling history re-writing.
Then again, how many academicians in Malaysia actually have that much integrity?
Like this is new! The malays are so eager to achieve their 'ketuanan' status they can do anything! Lying and falsehood is no problem as they have developed such a thick face over the years. Just living on lies and falsehood is a way of life now!
The sad part of it all is that this latest development is part of the many developments currently being practised to deny the important roles of the Chinese and Indians in the development of this country to what it is today.
It is not a coincidence that the state of development of countries around in this region is directly proportional to the percentage of Chinese populations - Thailand, Philippine, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia.
Fortunately, the non-malays here are essentially non confrontational and let it be. Only grumble here and there so long as everybody can still earn a decent living.
The bad thing is, Malaysia is not using its full potential especially in this global environment and will lose out in the future. The meritocracy is a real joke. Already as far as I know, the local Malaysian Chinese are far behind Chinese from Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and now China. Very soon the malays won't have someone to rely on……….when the oil runs out.
I know because I was there when Chinese in these countries were equal in capabilities in the 70s and 80s in ICT etc. Continue neglecting the non-malays in areas of trade, education etc, will have profound implications in the years to come.
As far as I am concerned, I am already looking for overseas opportunities not local. If my money grows overseas - it is in line with the NEP. My money won't be counted so NEP can be achieved. Good for all. NEP is about percentage, not the quantum.
When globalisation comes about, I do predict that many local businesses will go global and not be limited by stupid local politics. That is when the effects of NEP will be telling on those who depended on it. Only the fittest survives.
After all why waste time here. Everything so difficult without delays and bribes. As far as I am concerned I don't give a damn about what they taught in the history books - It is not my history. I teach my children my version.
We, Chinaman come to Malaysia to make living. We work hard, work in the construction, toil in the sunlight, growing vegetables and fruits, to supply to all of Malaysians regardless of race.
Before we Chinaman come, malays don't even know how to eat vegetables. So we Chinaman have contributed so much to Malaysia. And we are here to defend this country from rotting. Rotting because the malays are not doing anything about it, except for asking money from government.
They vote the malay government in, so that they can get job from government. Their job in government is very simple. Traveling from one state hotel to another state hotel, talk cock, smoke, sit down, enjoy hotel food, don't do anything, basically being very unproductive. And still, they are very proud of themselves.
I think the history books should dedicate 1 chapter to Yap Ah Loy, for his vision in developing Kuala Lumpur. Malays just come in to Kuala Lumpur. They didn't build Kuala Lumpur.
You malays are very insecure……….very insecure.
Where is malays came from originally, could anyone remember? Correct me if I am wrong. Old malays are originally came from south China, the province now called Yunan in China. Also merge from Sumatra, Jawa, Aceh, etc.
They are not bumis of Malaysia but immigrants like the others, only difference they came earlier. True bumis of the land are the Orang Asli.
Anyway you malays can't deny that others beside your "people" contributed to the development of this country. Calling others to stop complain also denied their rights as Malaysian citizens.
Or are you thinking that you are far more superior that this type of treatment is fair to us? The real fact is we never wished to be born here, it is unfortunate living in Malaysia and having people like you telling us that we are immigrants and have no rights in this country.
Now the question is why we need to defend this country if it is not our own? You think we are your slaves? Defend a country which we are treated as second class citizens? Is that what you are implying? Does that ring your bell why non-malays preferred not to join the armed forces?
The Portuguese, the Malays, the Japanese, the Indians, the Chinese, the British, the Arabs, had come and some had gone.
Don't blame others if you want to remain sleeping in the jungle. If not for these immigrants, Malaysia would still remain in the era of the cavemen. Cry your heart out, man!
I have no quarrel with one in this round. I agree with wholeheartedly that the history on Chin Peng is not only scanty but biased and one-sided.
For all his faults, Chin Peng was a true nationalist. He thought Malayan rather than Malay, Indian or Chinese, or in my case, Eurasian.
However he used the wrong approach, i.e. communism in his attempt to unite the country. The British were able to foil his fight for independence for the country by playing the divide and rule card, showing his move as a Chinese one and against the malays.
Umno copied the British tactic of divide and rule which has continued to this day and is the basis of the BN power structure.
But as I explained in the posting, what the retarded fellows are doing is futile, as no one can really distort history and remain credible for long.
If the overwhelming might of the western media cannot hide their past massive slaughter of third world peoples, what can these pathetic morons do? Especially with the birth of the Internet and the increasing ability of people to reason out things?
Indeed, any student who takes a peep into such "history" will no doubt laugh his head off, and I am not talking about five years old. You might say, then why did the minister says the book is based on facts? Answer: what else can he say?
I am certain that the moment the book was written, the writers themselves already knew they were lying. Such is the insistent power of truth.
It is pretty disheartening to see contributions from the non-malays belittled. Look at the sports, economics, arts etc - non-malays contributions are often neglected. See Tan Sri Robert Kouk, Sir Jimmy Choo, Datuk Michelle Yeoh, etc - the world recognise them.
Patriotism comes form a sense of identity and belonging to the country. Their fundamental role in achieving the independence, the development of Malaysia today, are often overlooked. Furthermore, they are disadvantaged in everything which requires government intervention. Ethno schools, education grants, buying of houses, businesses, etc.
We have more Indonesians receiving PR status as oppose to other races. The world golf champion Vijay Singh ironically was denied PR status.
Malaysia has only a population of above 23 million people. Shanghai in itself is almost equivalent to the whole of Malaysia inhabitants. Are we to focus on which race is the "Jaguh Kampung" to the detriment of the whole of Malaysia while other nations are competing against nations?
Rules, policies, laws etc - to hamper the progress of other races for the benefit of one cannot be applied internationally.
People say the "history is written by those who win the war" in this case Malaysia history - kids today are not stupid as we think, there is this funny thing called the Internet, just type "malay" - you will be able to find out were the malay people came from and how there are related to other races in the world which includes Indian and Chinese civilization.
Indians were here long before any malays were in this land, for a fact - Chadi in Kedah was build by Indian civilisation, no in-depth researches was ever done on this place, on the site - I wonder why?
Malay, Indian or Chinese, what we need to focus is how to be come like other develop country. Peace……….
I really cannot understand why the malays, after given so much privileges, can still have so much to complain. It seems that you guys complain about everything.
You complain that the non-malays are insensitive but here I can see so many articles that are not just insensitive but totally rude and arrogant to the non-malays.
You malays should try to understand how people (non-malays) feel before criticizing others. If you are unhappy with others, please remember that there are many others who are also unhappy with you.
But I believe everything is mutual - so if you want respect from others, you should first respect others and also yourself.
If you always think that the non-malays are lucky to be in Malaysia, the non-malays would also have the same thinking that the malays are so lucky as all their needs - mosques, schools, university fees, are subsidized mostly by taxes collected from the non-malays.
I think Malaysia is the only country where its people keep on talking about "special rights" while other countries keep moving on.
This is a very sad situation in Malaysia. 49 years after independence, the state of mentality of the Malaysians is still racially polarized.
Based on the postings made by a lot of people here, the feeling of animosity between the races could be worse than the situation before independence.
Each race is questioning the loyalty of the others. Chinese running back to China. Indians running back to India. Malays running back to Indonesia. Ask yourself this question - can anyone of you go back to these countries where your ancestors came from?
There is nothing wrong and to be too proud of multiracial in our country, and look at Australia - they have their own bumi, Chinese, English, German, Greek, Indian, Italian, South American, Vietnamese, etc, they people have more racial in their country, why do they live so peacefully? Because of equality, I wonder why our country is still so……….blah.
We can't afford to give BN a 90% majority again. It will be a suicidal move towards destroying the future for Malaysia. Very disappointed indeed!
(They sound so stupid that only a true Umno pig could post them. I hope, for your own sake, that you are not an Umno pig type.)
The Umno pig speaks of media credibility. Here is the million dollar question. What media credibility? All newspapers in Malaysia are government affiliated or owned. There are no real independent daily newspapers in Malaysia!
You want harmony in Malaysia……….then control the spread of radical Islamization and stem the march towards Arabism.
The greatest threat to Malaysia harmony, above and over racial tensions, is a majority group with no sense of identity (or a misplaced one). Controlling the Internet will only result in speeding up of stupidity.
Don't be angry. He minister just another asshole. He thinks he can control the Internet media. Huh! Even the US government can't! Morons will be morons! Pretty lame excuse to ensure racial harmony!
Anyway that is the only excuse they got. Answer this Umno moron, how can you promote for a free media where you have licensing board to control it? What kind of country that enforces Internet control? I know one which is the communists. So are you trying to tell us that we are communists? Why be afraid of the Internet if you have mentioned yourselves that it should not be treated as the main media?
Just because we are not allowed to talk about racial issues doesn't mean they are not there. The issues will always be there until we all grow up, our balls dropped and ovaries ripen and we address the problems in a mature way.
However, look at the way things are now. Our "universities" (I truly hesitate to call them that. I think "zoos" would be the more appropriate term, seeing how the suck at UPM act recently) churn our graduates with shit for brains, making them follow the government blindly and useless for the workforce (just look at the number of unemployed local "zoos" graduates).
I find it "funny" and ironic that an Umno pig would open his mouth (snout?) and ask for a ban on the Internet to stop it from being used as a rumor mill when, if we look back to the history of Malaysia, Umno pig is the only party that has spread rumors that have led to bloodshed and racial genocide. Yes, I am talking about May 13.
Yes, Gerakan was wrong when it ran a rally that "insulted" the malays. But, Umno pig could have stopped the whole thing. Gerakan apologized profusely after the rally and the Umno pig could have just ignored them and not host a retaliatory rally of their own.
They could have been the bigger man, but they chose to be eviler pig. They started another rally, spread rumors that some malays were killed by Chinese, and the rest is history.
So to recap, how strange for the only party in Malaysia to cause bloodshed through rallies and rumors to ask for an end to rumors.
Mr Umno pig, are you sure you want to end rumors on the Internet? It has served your Umno pig party very very well in the past, giving you Umno pig control of this country and making you are cronies rich. Think again. Sure you still want censor the Internet?
I read with great sadness over the controversy arising from the statement made by with regards to the concept of malays as the 'masters of the land'.
It now appears to me that the problem began with the concept of 'Ketuanan Melayu'. This concept was introduced around the time when Malaysia was working hard to achieve independence from the British.
As we are all aware, the malays were marginalised in the economic sector and perhaps to a large extend the political side as well. The malay leaders of the time tried to boost the spirit of the malay community by introducing the concept of 'Ketuanan Melayu'.
So, the malay leaders at the time used the concept 'Ketuanan Melayu' as a rallying point not as a tool to rid or oppress the non-malays, but merely as a cry to prevent the malays from drifting towards oblivion in the era of Malaysia as a country.
I am a son of a Malaysian career-diplomat. I have had the privilege of traveling around the world all my life.
Based on the input I received from many others in my journey, racist concepts as Apartheid; KKK; and many more cannot be compared to 'Ketuanan Melayu'. While the other concepts ranging from ethnic cleansing to white supremacy are meant to dominate and wipe out the other races, 'Ketuanan Melayu' is only meant to help the malays to get to equal footing with the non-malays.
We can see today the barriers for non-malays in Malaysia are slowly coming down as the malays have steadily climbed up the ladders. Today, UTAR, I am happy to say is finally set up. Furthermore, there are no longer ethnic quotas in public universities. It might take a little bit more time but we are surely getting there.
While our system might not be perfect, and rightfully we should criticise where need be, there is no need to throw mud across the table and certainly there is no need to use inflammatory words. Hopefully we can all steer our beloved Malaysia to a better future.
Lead your Malaysia country by example! Unfortunately: when no all but one of the ministers has a university degree, this example shouldn't down spiral the level of education for the next generation.
It is true that ignorance of the masses keep who is in power. Sad way of playing democracy……….
Wow you got guts! Happy to say, people are not coming back to this wretched land, having the government turn its back upon them. The last word, I heard of Bangsa Malaysia………..All they know is to say, and then go on for the next NEP. Stupid!
Who in his sane mind to come back to a country which their lawful, taxpaying parents waste their tax on lazy people? Furthermore, the brainy-one will become the future feeder of lazy people and had his own children rights denied. Weird!
I am absolutely agree with you. Malaysia is strictly for those malay pig………..they are so stupid pig, yet the government want to aid them on their all those university places - 80% is reserved for higher education to these so called bumis (actually just the generation of the pirates originated from Indonesia).
Since the government doesn't appreciate us as talented person, then we shouldn't support this lame government anymore.
Remember! When the election comes the next time, please use your head to vote and not your emotion or your racial sentiment
A good government is one with good opposition - electing the opposition doesn't mean you against the ruling party or agree with the opposition.
There need to be balance, check and counter check. We cannot just depend on Mr Lim alone to fight!
I can relate to you in many ways. I have just found out that the best way to deal with bad things, is to turn a blind eye and ear to them. Ignore them, and they will leave you, soon enough. Allow them to spew their insults, it doesn't matter what they say anyway, it is us who are in control of our feelings and how we feel, not them.
I know you malays are pissed off too in your own way because you are too lazy and selfish to share. It is clear……….It is a hard thing to change from a lazy and selfish creature to a human. It is understandable.
If the word "democracy" has been followed properly according to the meaning, there will be no existing problems at all. Where is the freedom of speech on the Malaysia media? Why is there discrimination if people want to practice equal rights?
All of this issue leads to not democracy and racism! The word democracy is used to keep the happy image in the eye of other countries, so it won't effect the economy!
About the Polynesians person……….Yes, there were everywhere. Like Indonesia, New Zealand, Philippines, and etc. What you know? Polynesian originally from the Taiwan. Even malays are form Jawa. That makes them a native people from Polynesian island, but not natives of Malaysia.
I still believe that the people (Malaysians) are the ones who drive this country. Not corrupted politicians, racist cunts or other selfish groups. We could make changes. And changes we shall make for a brighter future. Peace out!
If you look around you, you'd see that some of our malays have distinctive Mongoloid features. Discrimination against races is disgusting, laws favoring our malays is an insult to us!
Don't worry. Many people are already leaving Malaysia for a better future elsewhere, where they are rewarded what is due them, their knowledge, intelligence and hard work. Blame people such as yourself for the brain drain in Malaysia is sufficiency.
As far as I can recall, the Melaka Sultanate was not Muslim. Islam was introduced by the Muslim traders from the Middle East and some attributed it to Laksamana Cheng Ho, who was a Chinese Muslim. So please take note that the origins of the Sultanate was not one that is Muslim.
Second - technically and legally speaking, only the natives such as the Jakuns, Ibans and Bidayuhs are the original pribumis in Malaysia. Even the malays have bloodlines from Sumatra, Sulawesi and Jawa.
I am praying for the day that some rich person(s) would challenge the current legal rulings when it comes to the rights of the malays because the malays do not originate from Malaysia and thus, do not deserve the title "prince of the earth" and the rights that go with it.
I am all for special rights for people who truly deserve it - the poor, the needy and the natives, who are the true bumiputeras.
We are fast approaching the 50th anniversary of independence. Please ask ourselves what have we achieved in this span of time.
What has happened to our education system? How has our nation improved? How are we going to improve ourselves and make Malaysia a friendly and safe place for investors and tourists alike? Why is the crime rate going up, with numerous murder, robbery and sexual assault cases?
What conservative Islamic values? The correct term is conservative Arabic values. These values are alien to Malaysia. Girls in the kampungs used to bathe by the riverside.
Even P Ramlee movies hardly featured anyone in tudung. And now you have indoctrinated fools going scuba diving in the tudung. Oh, how the foreigners laugh!
People who want to live like Arabs should move to the Middle East. There is your cue, malay.
I personally think that men and women who do not have life experiences and relevant university educations should never qualify as politicians in near future.
After 50 years of independence, I expect a higher standard for politicians - well traveled, well read, well knowledgeable and informed. Plus admirable virtues such as respect, love, kindness and gentleness.
So our citizens and politicians (who represent Malaysia in the world front) ought to be more smart.
Malay, you should go to Afghanistan/Iran/Pakistan, on a one-way plane ticket. Make sure you strip off your Malaysian citizenship on the way there. Malaysia deserves much better than citizens such as yourself.
So please do us a favor and just fly to another country where your ideas will be welcomed and encouraged. Malaysia has no place for a person such as you.
You malays don't like it? You leave! We are going to stay! We like it here! Who gives you the right to tell us what to do?
They just jealous because they are loose in economical race. I can understand that. If immigrants more rich than malays, then malays will be jealous like hell. It happens everywhere. If Chinese poor - I am sure malays never become racists but Chinese never made to be poor. We are made to be winner and sorry to the looser who become racists after that.
Malays never beat Chinese in economy even until end of the world - their destiny is to become slaves.
Why we live in your country because it is easier to earn money there - because your peoples have no brains that is why there are no competitive.
We are not scare at you my friend, lots of Chinese already move to other country such as Australia, Singapore or US. We have the money, we can go everywhere we like even going back to China!
God damn, you are really a fool. Why Chinese are everywhere? Here, let me tell you why. In China, it is hard to earn money because the competitive is extremely high. Where in country like Malaysia, there are no competitive at all - the reason is simple, you malays doesn't know how to do business and earn cash, so all the opportunity goes to the Chinese.
You malays are well educated and you have brain? And want to make Malaysia better? Why Malaysia still likes that? Corrupted, useless, weak junk country. The currency is useless, economy like shit! Think fools!
Thanks to Malaysia? Hahaha! And you said become rich because of Malaysia? No, Chinese become rich because we are hardworking and smart! Fools you! Chinese go everywhere also can live, in Australia, in US, and all over the world. Go traveling around and see if you can find any malay! Hahaha!
Become smart because education in Malaysia? Think smart! Dream! Your education system is lousy, suck, useless! The standard is low! Find prove stupid!
Heart? Where is our heart? You malays don't like Chinese, why do Chinese have to pay our heart to Malaysia?
Point the finger to yourself. What a big stupid malay fool dumbfuck.
Also, visit your brother Indonesia, and you can see all the shops and companies are operated by Chinese. We also conquer your brother economy, fools! Hahaha……….what a joke! Indonesia!
Let us face it. You don't want Chinese to get out of Malaysia. Because if they did, Malaysia would never develop. They would also bring a great deal of financial wealth and investments with them too.
Note Malaysia is doing well. It certainly isn't because of the malays.
And Thailand which is another prosperous South-East Asia nation. It also has a large Chinese population and a national culture that is welcoming towards Chinese. At least they have a leader on the South-East Asia knows of how to treat Chinese. It is no wonder that Thailand is on the verge of being a developed nation.
We have descended into chaos and contempt, looking at other races suspiciously, no matter what the politicians want us to believe. I feel sad that we did not build on what our founding fathers left for us, and for the divisive lives we had got into, and that we are literally at each others throats.
I sometimes see these with anger and sometimes with despair that what we could have been but never did. My reflections these days seem to throw my hands up and remark that we, as Malaysians, have lost.
To claim that we are proud to be Malaysians rings very hollow in my ears, as we are not. We have grown to be racists, from the prime minister and the rulers to the average man on the street. The exceptions are too few to be recognised.
The day the leader of the country is able to stand for and convince us that he is not a racist, that is the day this country will move forward.
It could be an elusive dream during my lifetime, as what we all had were racist politicians polluting the average man's mind for their own political expediency, except for the first prime minister, but write to anyone content and heart, we are not going to be a developed nation as these people keep saying now and then, as what you sow so shall you reap and that time will set the clock back.
Anyway who cares! We all live in a world of pretence as if everything is ok but time will tell whether I am right even though deep inside me I would wish otherwise.
We are about 13 years away from the supposedly dream of attaining the developed nation status and as the word implies, it could well end up as a dream after the hype and ho hah. When we have an education system which is not only lagging far behind but very, very politicised and with a "trial and error" guinea pigs that we have become, it is all talk and talk.
The prime minister talks but these days very few believe anything he has to say. Maybe there has been a revolution indeed that he promised - just that I did not or could not see it.
After all, he had the audacity to claim that he had done a great deal to arrest corruption. I must have been sleeping because I did not see it. Multitudes of projects are just being dished out without any tenders and we have gone down further on the corruption index.
Of course, nothing what we write here will ever reach those politicians because they have proven us wrong over and over again by being voted in election after election and they continue with their complacent and lethargic attitude as ever.
We are a divided nation, more so by religion these days than by any other reasons. While we fight, our neighbours rejoice. The sorry state of affairs will continue.
A recent survey showed that people have the least trust in politicians. I was surprised that there need to be a survey to find that out as the word "crooked" has become synonymous with politicians, from the top to the bottom.
Most universities of developed nations are autonomous and although we have private universities, which are nothing more than money-making institutions, the quality of education is very pathetic indeed.
From the top to the bottom, it is "tidak apa" all the way. A small nation to the south with no known natural resource has placed itself comfortably in the economic world but we have "half-past-six" (just borrowed from Mahatir) people handling the government and its agencies with almost predictable results of losses. Are we going to sleep forever? Are we supposed to be proud?
You talk to the monkeys in parliament, they behave more like "samseng" than elected representatives and such people are walking our parliament house.
How, can we expect our children to be decently educated when these people continue behaving like circus monkeys? Instead of trying to get the races together, these are simply exploits to create animosity.
Even the way they explained the merits on the university selection was very off the mark - we all could see that they were lying through their teeth - and they too know that they are lying but they just do it.
I am tempted to say they are just dreaming - daydreaming. Mahatir tried for 22 years and failed and he is supposed to be one of those intelligent prime minsters but he approached and dealt with almost racially blurred eyes.
Those before him also failed. They have created a sub-standard species of walking zombies in Malaysia who will either nod up and down or right and left. The will was never there and it will never be. Just make hay while the sun shines - grab as much as you can as if you don't, others will. May the Creator has mercy on this country.

Hi..apa khabar?
I've posted a new posting.
Lama tak dengar khabar?
Dzan pun dah lama tak update his blog. Where has he gone to?
